This 90 second keto French toast delivers crispy, custardy flavour with only 1.75g net carbs — grain-free, sugar-free, and ready in minutes. Perfect for keto low-carb lifestyles.

Ingredients

90 Second Keto French Toast

Serves: 1


Ingredients:

The Mini Loaf:

  • 1 egg, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp egg white protein powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp cream of tartar
  • 2 tbsp powdered sweetener

The Custard (Appareil):

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon to taste

Pan Fry:

  • 1-2 tbsp butter for frying

To Serve:

  • Sugar-free maple syrup
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

Part 1: The Mini Loaf

  1. Add all mini loaf ingredients to mini blender
  2. Blend until completely smooth
  3. Pour into greased 5½” x 5½” microwave-safe glass dish
  4. Microwave uncovered on high for 3 minutes
  5. Cool one minute in dish
  6. Transfer to wire rack and cool completely

Part 2: The Custard (Appareil)

  1. Add all custard ingredients directly into your square microwave dish
  2. Whisk together until silky smooth
  3. Poke holes all over cooled mini loaf on both sides with a fork
  4. Cut mini loaf lengthwise into 3 fingers
  5. Dredge fingers in custard
  6. Set fingers in custard and seal with lid
  7. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes or overnight
  8. The longer the soak the more tender the fingers

Part 3: Pan Fry

  1. Melt butter in pan over low-medium heat
  2. Fry custard soaked fingers 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown
  3. Serve immediately with sugar-free maple syrup and whipped cream
