My Personal Wake-Up Call

My journey to creating Sinless Sourdough™ began with hard-earned wisdom. After an over 30-year career in wine and food, I had a lot to show for it—including a 70-pound weight gain! I gave up the carbs and cocktails and lost the weight through low-carb eating.

Born from Loss, Driven by Purpose

But my Sinless Sourdough™ mission goes far deeper than personal health—it was born from profound loss. Within just 1.4 years, I lost my father, my younger brother, and then my mother to heart disease. Devastated by grief, I found myself at a crossroads: I could end it all, or I could create something meaningful to help others improve their heart health through the bread I’ve always loved and believed in—sourdough. A way to move forward. A way to dedicate my life to you and others and honour my family.

Channeling Pain into Purpose

I channeled my compounding grief, and being neurodivergent hyper-fixated with ADHD, I directed this intense focus and energy into something positive and healing. Through extensive experimentation, I perfected the craft of creating low-carb dehydrated sourdough starters and recipes—all while ensuring they’re brimming with REAL, authentic lactobacillus goodness and that signature tangy sourdough flavour we all love.
